Cornelius Gould re-joins Omnia Audio

Omnia Research & Development team expands

May 9, 2008, Cleveland Ohio, USA

Omnia Audio welcomes well-known broadcast engineer and audio processing guru Cornelius Gould to the Omnia Audio R&D team.

“I designed and built my first audio processor when I was 16, and have never stopped,” says Gould, affectionately known throughout the industry as “Corny.” “The Program Director part of me is always pushing the Engineer part to come up with better, cleaner processing algorithms. I can’t conceive of a better organization to do it at than Omnia.”

Gould is no stranger to the Telos family, nor the broadcast industry. He has over nineteen years of experience as a broadcast engineer, most recently with the Engineering department of CBS’ Cleveland radio cluster. Longtime Telos clients will also remember him in his position as a Customer Support Engineer with Omnia in the 1990s. Upon re-joining Telos, he will be an Audio Processing Research and Development Engineer for Omnia Audio, an organization already possessed of one of the largest R&D teams in the industry.

“Corny’s love for audio processing runs about 6dB more than anyone outside of our company,” say Frank Foti, President of Omnia Audio. “That’s the quotient we need as Omnia grows yet again. He brings a wealth of field knowledge, along with passion, understanding, and a critical ear. We’ve shared many a thought about processing over the years; adding him to our talented R&D team is very exciting!”

“It’s great to have Corny back home with us,” says Denny Sanders, Managing Director of the Telos group. “His experience both as a Chief Engineer and as a client is invaluable to an organization like ours.”
